Striving for that 100 pounds!!!
"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Philippians 4:13
Saturday September 20th was a weigh-in day for me and I am completely satisfied with the results. You see I maintained. Yes I am still at 287 lbs. I have been struggling for the last three weeks with some side effects to new short-term medication I have been taking. A menu of soft foods that would not challenge my digestive system has been what I have been eating. You cannot eat 1200-1500 calories of cooked veggies in a day!!! So I have been trying to get my protein by drinking protein drinks, eating peanut butter and eating eggs. This has been a real challenge!!!!
Thinks are fine now and I am back on the Living Lean meals! But I have set a new goal for myself. I had to step back and re-evaluate what I want to accomplish. I would really like to reach my 100 pound mark by my first anniversary at Body Dimensions Fitness. I have 17 weeks to go until January 16, 2009. I need to lose 36 pounds in that time!!!
I will also have to see my doctor for a six months check-up on January 16, 2009. I would love to go to the doctor 40 pounds less that I was in July 2008. So this is a new road I am on. The journey continues but I am taking a different road. Gloria, my trainer, has altered my daily cardio workouts and I am looking forward to the change. I will keep you posted.
If you have comments or questions please email me at healthierfaith@bellsouth.net. I would love to hear from you!!! Thanks for coming along on this journey to a healthier life!!!! Faith
